Meet Our Board of Directors
We are a group of dedicated volunteers working to empower individuals living with a neurological disorder through quality research based exercise. programs.
Wendy Wilkerson
MS.Ed., President/Founder
Wendy has over 15+ years working with special populations in cardiac rehabilitation, orthopedic/neurological physical therapy and wellness. Her experience developing exercise classes for people with Parkinson's disease with a local healthcare company made her see a much bigger need to provide more for the community.
She started her own wellness facility in 2018 for Parkinson's disease and Multiple Sclerosis providing exercise classes as well as 1:1 services. After 5 years and the effects of Covid, she saw a much larger need for neurological disorders and their caregivers from progression of the disease and the stress on the caregivers. This is where The Empowerment Neurofitness and Wellness center came to life!
